The adidas Originals Continental 80 Will Drop in "Core Black"
The YEEZY lookalike is already a crowd favorite.
Slated to drop this week, the adidas Originals Continental 80 has made strong waves within the sneaker community since it was first unveiled. Known for its striking resemblance to Kanye West‘s popular YEEZY Powerphase, the silhouette has already become a favorite despite not even having dropped yet. Versions in white and off-white have already been revealed and now, Three Stripes introduces yet another colorway: “Core Black.”
Although the majority of the shoe is dipped entirely in a shade of black – upper and midsole included – several eye-catching details in color are used throughout the upper. The most obvious of these accents is, of course, the bold red stripe that runs directly through both the side and medial panels at a diagonal. adidas Originals’ classic Trefoil and text branding also appears in white and red, sitting just beneath the eyelets. Rounding off the look, the Trefoil emblem is printed in white on the heel tab.
The adidas Originals Continental 80 “Core Black” is slated to drop on June 21 at select retailers such as Afew. You can shop the shoes for $115.53 USD.
