CHIMI's Retro Sunglasses Just Dropped in Summer-Fresh Hues

Right on trend.

Swedish label CHIMI Eyewear has just brought back its popular ’90s inspired Yolo Ighe collection in new colorways in time for summer. Previously only coming in black and white, the shades get a bold update in “Red,” “Litchi” and “Mango” for the season. Inspired by the vibrant and buzzing nightclub scene, the frames are designed in collaboration with Joel Ighe.

“When Joel found those tiny ‘forgotten-in-the-bar’ glasses, which suddenly turned into his signum, we did not know that this collection was going to be a success. We took a risk when launching the collection. But what was supposed to be a limited edition with only 100 pieces, has turned out to be a success that we are happy to continue with,” said Charlie Lindström, Head of Design at CHIMI Eyewear about the collaboration, also stating that the new colors are the perfect addition to create a complete collection.

The three new shades are launching on June 20 over at CHIMI’s website where they retail at €139 EUR (approximately $160 USD). Take a look at the edgy collection in the gallery above, and get ready to rock these beauties all summer long.
