The Sneaker Edit: New Summer Kicks Including New Balance's 998 "Arctic Fox"
Packed with pastel accents.
In the previous installment of The Sneaker Edit, we handpicked staples from a few of our favorite brands. This time we’re dishing out editor-approved selections from Nike, Converse and adidas. We’ve been itching to add some new designs to our lineup. The main standouts are Nike’s Air Max 97 “Persian Violet” and New Balance‘s 998 in “Arctic Fox.”
Swoosh’s latest eye-catching AM97 model arrives with mostly monochrome accents. Alongside the crisp black upper, the bottom half features white waves. The main focus on this design is the tonal lace system and the visible Air Max Unit. For those who enjoy bright detailing, New Balance’s 998 in “Arctic Fox” is the perfect new trainer. These kicks come packed with a matching “N” alongside blue and pink hits of color all-over.
If you’re more into the seasonless grey hue, adidas Originals‘ Samba in “Crystal White/Chalk Pearl” provides a clean offering in one of the brand’s most known silhouettes. The crisp vintage revamp’s detailing includes a rubber outsole, white lacing and suede overlays. Pair this design with an easy, logo piece from the brand.
Last but certainly not least, Converse serves up two All Star Chuck Taylor 70 collections. The iterations are available in the imprint’s beloved Hi and Lo styles. You can pick up the Hi in summer-ready colorways like “Shoreline Blue,” “Green,” and “Pink Pop, while the Chuck Taylor 70 Lo is available in “Mercury Grey/Black,” “Mica Green/Black,” “Terracotta Red/Black,” “Shoreline Blue/Black” and “Teak/Black.”
Below, take a look at our favorite silhouettes right now and find out where to purchase each of them.
