Nike's New Air VaporMax 97 Is a "Varsity Purple" Gem

Take a look at this sole.

The Air VaporMax 97 has been updated in a summer-ready “Varsity Purple” colorway. Its color combination matches Nike‘s popular “Grape” mix that includes purple, teal and white tones.

The AVM 97 sits on a violet bubble sole that originally debuted on the Air VaporMax. Its upper holds a white base with contrasting gray “waves” at the top. Swoosh branding can be found on the lateral, tongue tag and heel pull tab as well. Ladies looking for vibrant footwear this season should definitely consider this release.

The “Varsity Purple” AVM 97 will release on June 21 for $190 USD at select Swoosh retailers. Take a closer look at the shoe above.
