Is the Nike Air Max 94 Slated to Be the New OG Favorite for Sneakerheads?
Now available in the US for the very first time.
When Nike brings back an OG sneaker favorite, they mean business. From the Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet” that essentially dominated Instagram feeds for the next year following its initial re-release in 2017, to the chunky Air Max 95 that has become a favored addition to retro-inspired looks, there is no denying the pattern here. Using this as a precedent, would it then be correct to forecast that the Air Max 94 has the potential to become a new streetwear favorite? Back when the AM94 first launched, the drop was only available exclusively in Europe. This time around, however, Nike’s re-release of the 1994 model will be hitting the US for the very first time. Debuting two new colorways, the forthcoming release will see variations in both an “Infrared”-esque palette with elements of red, black, white and grey, and a yet unnamed colorway boasting shades of black, neon green and silver.
The Nike Air Max 94 is available now at select stockists such as Finishline, where it retails for $120 USD. In other sneaker news, here’s where you can buy the highly anticipated Off-White™ x Nike Air Presto in black when it drops today.
