Selena Gomez and PUMA have teamed up again to reintroduce the world to the California sneaker. The tennis silhouette was created in 1983 for an Argentinian tennis star soon making its way into the streets of the sunshine state.

The California has since been transformed into the California Exotic. The California Exotic has a thick sole with an external arch support for long wear. The upper is crafted from nubuck and leather with metallic detailing on the lateral. Gomez rocks the “Whisper White” colorway of the low-top shoe with a PUMA tracksuit to pair.

PUMA and other select stockists will stock the California Exotic on August 2. Take a look at the updated sneaker above.
