Pro Skater Nora Vasconcellos Debuts Her First Signature adidas Sneaker
Featuring her very own artwork.
Making history last year when she was named as adidas‘ first female pro skater, Nora Vasconcellos keeps the momentum going as she debuts her first signature adidas sneaker. For her very own colorway of the Matchcourt RX, the iteration highlights original artwork by Vasconcellos herself. The low-top silhouette is dipped in a stunning shade of pastel periwinkle, with a floral graphic etched in white wrapping around the collar and heel. As a perfect union of both form and function, the canvas body is reinforced with suede panels in the shoe’s high abrasion areas.
On why she decided to customize this particular model, Vasconcellos explains, “The Matchcourt RX is the perfect everyday shoe. You can dress it up or down and it’s great to skate right out of the box.” Additional performance features include an EVA sockliner for cushioning and support to last throughout the day, double-wrapped foxing for extended protection, and a grippy vulcanized outsole to optimize a true board feel. Rounding off the look are the words “NORA” printed atop the iconic Three Stripes on the side panel.
The adidas Matchcourt RX Nora is now available in unisex sizes at specialty adidas retailers worldwide, as well as the adidas Skateboarding website. Each pair retails for $75 USD.
