PUMA's Dad Sneaker, the Thunder Desert, Is Dropping in White

The Dad sneaker trend is still going strong. The high platform iterations are gaining traction as numerous sportswear brands amp up releases including FILA and New Balance. In the mix is none other than PUMA which recently unveiled its newly-designed Thunder Desert silhouette in “Natural Vachetta” and “Smoke Green.” Now the new age model is set to release in a colorway dubbed “Bright White/Star White.”
While the previously-seen sneakers came with a retro color-blocked design, the newer white trainer skews towards minimalism. Detailing arrives in the form of a suede and leather upper paired with a chunky, off-white rubber sole. Additionally, the hue “Grey Violet” finds its way on the sole. The standout feature on this pair is the modern, midfoot stripe which is made of a snakeskin-inspired pattern.
