This Ridiculously Layered Balenciaga Coat Could Be Yours Soon

Back in April, Demna Gvasalia debuted multi-layered coats on the runway during Balenciaga’s Fall/Winter 2018 presentation. If you’ve been patiently waiting for these outerwear pieces to drop, you’re in luck. Now, ahead of the cooler weather, the luxury fashion house has unveiled a selection from the collection — an Oversized Parka Jacket in “Navy.”
The jacket arrives with seven layers made up of plaid shirts, jersey hoodies and technical fleeces. Also seen on the piece are cuffed sleeves, two front patch pockets, a drawstring hood and a coordinating hem. On the runway, the ultra-stacked coat was styled with black trousers and a graphic T-shirt underneath. Style it similarly with a pick from Filling Pieces’ FW18 collection.
Balenciaga’s Oversized Parka Jacket will be available at select stockists soon including MATCHESFASHION where it prices out at $8,125 USD.
