Filling Pieces Goes "Off the Grid" in Its FW18 Lookbook
Elevated outerwear.
Filling Pieces gears up for the colder seasons in its Fall/Winter 2018 lookbook, titled “Off the Grid.” The concept behind the streetwear-ready range centres around the theme of travelling “the unknown roads.” Inspired by the journey of self-discovery and nature, each design is made with unique materials carefully selected to face “dense jungles, to arid deserts, unforgiving ice and the tallest mountains.” Featuring a range of intricate jackets and coats, as well as sneakers and sweatpants, the collection arrives in a fall-ready color palette with purple, orange and dark hues.
“This collection stands for our boundary-less vision of our world, figuratively and literally. “OFF THE GRID” means getting out of your own ways to getting to know the unacquainted. Like my parents with their immigrant background, as many likeminded,” said Guillaume Philibert, founder of the label.
