Nike's Air Max 95 Gets the Satin "Red Crush" Treatment
Peep the varsity-inspired details.
Nike‘s classic Air Max 95 has been getting a real luxurious makeover recently, having been seen in a glitter-laden “Particle Rose” version alongside a gleaming metallic gold one. Now, the silhouette has debuted in yet another glamorous iteration dubbed “Red Crush,” which has a whole slew of varsity-inspired design elements.
The signature waved upper is overtaken in a deep burgundy hue with a shiny, satin finish which is contrasted in both color and texture by a panel of soft white terrycloth along the lacing unit. White laces add to the elegant look, which is rounded out with embroidered Air Max branding on the tongue and NSW cursive text toward the back of the lateral side. The entire unit rests atop a crisp white midsole with visible Air Max bubbles that also have a hint of deep red.
