The UA Forge 96 Is Under Armour's New Unisex Dad Sneaker
Find out when you can cop.
Under Armour has released a lookbook for its new dad sneaker, the UA Forge 96. Award-winning photographer Devin Allen steps behind the lens to capture the shoe in the city of Baltimore where UA had its start. He shares the importance behind the location:
“Baltimore is a hidden gem and we wanted to shine a light on a different side to our city, while using my life as a local artist as inspiration to guide us. Every location chosen is where I live, socially hang, and create amongst my peers. The models are those who look like friends and creators I interact with. Overall, it was inspired by a day-in-life of this unique community captured by our in-house creative squad at UA.”
The UA Forge 96 holds a ’90s-inspired design that is updated with modern materials like premium leather and soft suede. The EVA foam midsole is paired with a molded TPU heel stabilizer adds a retro look to the sneaker.
Shoppers will be able to cop the UA Forge 96 on August 31 for $120 USD. The “Grey/Red/Blue/Black” colorway will be sold in limited quantities online and at select retailers. Let us know what you think about the new silhouette below.
