Chloe x Halle Open Up About Debut Album 'The Kids Are Alright' and Touring With Beyoncé

Chloe x Halle are a breath of fresh air within the music industry. We recently got a chance to dive into the headspaces of the creative artists in our latest video. The soulful duo has captivated fans over the past few years with to their ability to create riveting music that stands the test of time. Hailing from Atlanta, the sisters who are two years apart — Chloe (20) and Halle (18) — first received their big break in 2013 when Beyoncé called after hearing their cover of her song, “Pretty Hurts.” Fast forward five years and the two are currently touring alongside the singer and JAY-Z for the couple’s On the Run II world tour.
In the quickfire-themed video, the two chat about their debut album, The Kids Are Alright, what it’s like touring with Beyoncé and even share a few beauty hacks. Their airy, R&B sound was captured on the critically acclaimed full-length project. At the top of 2018, the sisters starred as twins alongside Yara Shahidi in Grown-ish, the hit scripted series following Shahidi’s treck to college in California. According to Deadline, the show has announced that the sisters would be returning as series regulars for the second season.
