Fendi's SS19 Collection Features the Omnipresent Logo-Mania Trend
Alongside luxe biker shorts and chic leather accessories.
Karl Lagerfeld and Fendi officially presented their Spring/Summer 2019 collection at Milan Fashion Week. Adwoa Aboah opened the show in a look which featured a leather and translucent-raincoat, paired with a white dress underneath. The look set the tone for the entire presentation which included an array of clean-cut separates accentuated by playful, youthful accessories.
Throughout the collection, a major emphasis was placed on bra crop tops, translucent outerwear and the versatility of leather bags. Bella Hadid donned a particularly striking yellow collared top with navy biker shorts constructed with glitzy stripe detailing. Her look was styled with a quirky pair of glasses and an unconventional leather belt bag, created with gold hardware. Another look worth noting included Kendall Jenner‘s padded logo coat in white, worn with a matching leather handbag.
Accessories were a big component of the presentation with colorful heels and sandals sent down the runway in purple, white, pink and yellow to name a few. Handbags also took center stage and were constructed with the fashion house’s historic double FF logo. Variations of the logo were featured on bucket bags and shoulder bags. The vintage Fendi Baguette from 1997 is trending, so it comes as no surprise that the luxury house revamped this piece for the SS19 collection.
