LVMH Made A Record-Breaking $53.4 Billion USD in Sales Revenue Last Year

The company made its biggest profit yet in 2018.

In 2017, LVMH announced they made a record-breaking number of sales, and now the French multinational luxury goods conglomerate has revealed that the company made €46.8 billion EUR (approximately $53.4 billion USD) in 2018. The record-breaking number tops LVMH’s previous year by an incredible 18-percent.

According to reports, it was the big names like Louis Vuitton and Dior that lead to its strong earnings in 2018. The company has been seeing increased profits thanks to moves like appointing Virgil Abloh and Kim Jones in their respective positions, as well as Hedi Slimane‘s talked-about appointment at CELINE.

It remains to see what 2019 will hold for the label, and whether LVMH will be able to have yet another record-breaking year.
