Glossier Expands Shade Range of Its Perfecting Skin Tint and Stretch Concealer

Now available in 12 shades.

In a move towards inclusivityGlossier reveals earlier today that it has expanded the shade range of three of its best-selling makeup products: the Perfecting Skin Tint, the Stretch Concealer and Wowder.

Known for their lightweight and natural-looking finish, the beauty brand’s complexion line has been a favorite within the beauty community. In June of 2018, Glossier has reformulated its Skin Tints (previously available in five shades) and it was then that we first learned about is plans to add more shades to the cult-loved range.

Taking consumer feedback into consideration, the Emily Weiss-helmed brand has expanded the color range of the Perfecting Skin Tint ($26 USD) and the Stretch Concealer ($18 USD), with both products now coming in 12 shades. Those who’re unsure of what to pick may refer to the brand’s Shade Finder, which groups shades into four main categories — Rich, Deep, Medium and Light — and sees a number of images featuring women and men alike wearing the different hues.

Also arriving in new shades is the Wowder finishing powder ($22 USD). The “matte but not flat” setting powder was available in three shades when it first launched in 2017, and is now joined by two more shades.

With the spread of what some call the Fenty effect, Glossier isn’t the only beauty company that has updated its base product offering. MAC, RMS Beauty, Too Faced and Milk Makeup are also among the many cosmetics brands that have expanded their foundation range over the past year.

Head over to glossier.com to stock up on these beauty essentials. For $36 USD, you could shop the Perfecting Skin Tint and the Stretch Concealer as a duo; while for $35 USD, you may get the Wowder alongside a powder brush.
