Having taken its Nomad pop-up concept store to Los Angeles last year, British retailer Browns is setting up shop in Berlin this week. For three days only, Browns has taken over an abandoned supermarket in the Mitte area for a unique retail experience that includes live performances by the likes of IAMDDB and No Shade Collective as well as palm readings, tattooing, panel talks and private shopping appointments.
Alongside a curated selection of key products available to shop in the “store,” there are collaborative capsules made exclusively for the Berlin Nomad space. There will also be a particular focus on sustainable design through Browns’ Conscious edit, featuring the wares of designers like Priya Ahluwalia, Mariah Esa, Ancuta Sarca and more.
Discussing the decision to take the retail concept to Berlin, Tyler Psarras, Brand Engagement Director at Browns shared:
“When we were considering the location for the next Nomad, we knew we wanted to take the essence of Browns to a city that felt truly complimentary to our ethos, a place where next generation energy and heritage flow together. A city that could make you feel instantly connected to a community and a vibe and really gave you the freedom to express yourself. That’s Berlin. Never contrived and just really cool.”
Take a look at the space in the gallery above and be sure to stop by if you’re in Berlin; it’s open between November 14-16.
