Kanye West Recruits His Dad For New "Follow God" Music Video

Kanye West has unveiled the music video for “Follow God” off recently released album Jesus Is King. The stark video builds upon the album’s overtly religious theme, seeing West’s very own father, Ray West, deliver an opening monologue about his intention to follow in God’s footsteps.
Shot at one of West’s ranches in Cody, Wyoming, the video depicts Kanye and his dad clad in brown jumpsuits and hoodies riding around in a giant ATV tractor. The flat, snowy Wyoming landscape serves as a minimal backdrop to the action. The video closes with a touching dedication to Ray West. “It took me 42 years to realize that my dad was my best friend,” it reads.
Kanye announced the release of the video by tweeting a still of the dedication, which also alludes to West’s struggle for success as a black man in America.
