Step Inside Starbucks' New Reserve Roastery in Tokyo, Japan
The space includes Starbucks Japan’s first cocktail lounge.
Starbucks has opened the doors to its new Reserve Roastery in Tokyo, Japan. The space is designed by Kengo Kuma who added a modern industrial feel to the location. This store is Starbuck’s fifth Reserve Roastery following the launch of the Milan stronghold. Tokyo’s Reserve Roastery is based in the Nakameguro district boasting the first cocktail lounge for Starbucks Japan. Its design is inspired by the cherry blossom trees that line the local Meguro rivers. The interior is laced with glass walls and terraced floors that are meant to complement the existing aesthetic of the neighborhood. It also holds an AMU inspiration lounge for community gatherings and workshops.
