Häagen-Dazs Opens Matcha Café in Tokyo, Serving a Six-Course Green Tea Meal
A must-visit for matcha lovers.
If Häagen-Dazs‘ matcha ice cream flavor is one of your favorite desserts, you’ll probably be delighted to learn about the brand’s upcoming pop-up café that’ll be launching soon in Japan. Dubbed the Matcha Salon, the temporary Häagen-Dazs eatery will be opened in Tokyo this April as a celebration of the brand’s 35th year in Japan.
Located in the stylish Roppongi Hills entertainment complex, the café will be offering a six-course menu that appeals to the five senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. Each dish, of course, will be inspired by the taste of Häagen-Dazs’ popular matcha ice cream, the first-ever flavor that the brand has created to cater to the Japanese market.
The brand has yet to reveal more details about the special menu, so keep your eyes peeled. The Matcha Salon will be opened from April 24 through May 5. You may find the address and hours below. For more information, head over to Häagen-Dazs Japan’s official website.
