The day we’ve been waiting for is finally here. After months of speculating and anticpating, Netflix has now released the official trailer for the upcoming third season of hit series Stranger Things. In the 2:49 minute clip we see all the loved characters return to Hawkins in summer of 1985, showing all more grown up, like Will put it, “we’re not kids anymore. What did you think, we’re just going to sit in my basement every day and play games for the rest of our lives?”
This time around, the season will focus on the Fourth of July, and Netflix revealed the trailer with a cryptic tagline that reads “One Summer Can Change Everything.” Throughout the trailer we see nostalgic ’80s references and outfits, blossoming friendships, Millie Bobby Brown‘s character Eleven using her powers, before the trailer abruptly ends with this season’s terrifying monster.
Take a look at the trailer for Stranger Things season 3 in the video above, and catch it as it premieres on Netflix on July 4 this year.
