Everlane Launches Sustainable Sneaker Brand, Tread by Everlane
Here’s your first look at its affordable & unisex Trainer.
Everlane has entered the sneaker game debuting its new sustainable footwear imprint, Tread by Everlane. The brand is on a mission to create the world’s lowest-impact sneakers that are built to last. Its inaugural silhouette is the Trainer, a minimal, low-top sneaker crafted from full-grain leather. All of the plastic elements of a traditional shoe are dramatically reduced in this pair. Its laces are made from polyester and the insoles are built from a foam material. All together the shoe requires 18-percent less carbon emission than the average sneaker. The Trainer arrives in six unisex colorways: “Off White,” “Glacier,” “Grey,” “Navy,” “Butter,” “Pale Pink” and “Black.”
Everlane’s Trainer releases on April 25 for a $98 USD retail price. Women’s sizes extends from five to twelve and will be available online. Preview the silhouette below and be sure to mark your calendar for the drop.
