Inside Dior’s ABCDior Pop-Up in Hong Kong
Offering the chance to customize your Dior Book Tote to your heart’s content.
Dior has officially launched its latest pop-up, titled ABCDior, in Hong Kong. At the specially curated experience, the French maison is bringing a version of its atelier to Pacific Place for visitors to get up close and personal with a rare opportunity to customize their favorite Dior products in person.
Featuring a Dior Oblique canvas trunk display as its centrepiece, the workshop-like space was designed to bring out the inner craftsperson in each person. Here, you can request to have a word, your name or initials embroidered onto the Dior Book Tote — a celebrity-favorite that takes one and a half million stitches to produce — or alternatively, onto the emblematic Diorcamp bag, which boasts its own considerable cult following.
Sneakerheads can try their hand at adding their mark to a two-tone label that is riveted by hand to the back of their Walk’n’Dior sneakers — with up to three letters to be exact. The left shoe does not need to match the right, opening up a whole realm of possibilities for customization.
The Hong Kong pop-up will be open to the public through May 26. Check out an in-depth look in the gallery above.
