BAPE x Swatch Release Watch Collection Inspired by Global Cities
Representing New York City, Tokyo and more.
At the end of last month, BAPE unveiled a women’s workout line packed with camouflage pieces. Now, the brand is rolling out a watch collaboration with Swatch. The collection pays homage to numerous global cities including London, New York City, Paris, Bern (Switzerland) and Tokyo.
Each watch features a motif of its selected city and a few iterations are constructed with world maps. Detailing includes a camouflage pattern seen on select designs, while others are created with more minimalistic design cues. The color palette is kept pretty simple and includes variations of black, white, red and camouflage green. Additionally, the timepieces come with enlarged glass Lastly, the watches are rounded out by the collaborative branding which appears as the “swatch” placed near the hour hand alongside a miniature BAPE Ape Head on the hour hand.
The BAPE x Swatch collection will be available globally on June 15 at select stores. Take a look at each design in the gallery above.
