Nike Debuts Color-Blocked Air Max 270 React Sneaker

Arriving in seven different colorways perfect for summertime.

Nike unveils its latest footwear silhouette dubbed the Air Max 270 React. As the first lifestyle Air unit, the 270 is fused with the brand’s smoothest foam the Nike React, forming a newly created Air Max design.

The trainer is set to arrive in seven different colorways. Headlining the range are two designs: one featuring white, yellow and magenta accents, while the other appears in white, teal and yellow. The rest of the lineup features an assortment of hues such as white and purple, royal blue, cream and orange, white with millennial pink accents and black.

Detailing includes a bar tack technique inspired by Nike’s Element React 87, as described by Dylan Raasch, the company’s Senior Sportswear Design Director. Additionally, the designs include uppers constructed with radiant hits of color. Geometric tooling is also apparent in the cut-and-sew aesthetic seen throughout each colorway. Lacing is kept minimalistic and each sole unit appears a bit enlarged.

Nike’s Air Max 270 React will be available globally on July 3 at select stockists. Take a look at each new design in the gallery above.
