Last week, Bella Hadid went on a sun-filled vacation with her BFF Fanny Bourdette-Donon and sister Gigi Hadid to Mykonos in Greece. The trio posted a slew of dream vacation villa photos that gave us all the travel envy, and one particular photo caught our eye. In the Instagram post, Bella is seen posing in a multi-colored one-piece swimsuit from recently launched brand Louisa Ballou.
Louisa Ballou is from South Carolina, and released her “Sex Wax” beach and swimwear line this year as a part of her Central Saint Martins graduate collection. Having been raised by the coast, her line is inspired by surf culture and the tropical environment of her surroundings. Her collection includes not only luxury one-piece swimwear and bikinis but beach apparel such as mesh dresses.
The swimsuit piece that Bella Hadid was wearing features unconventional cut-outs, gold-toned metal hoop hardware and an open back. The “Solar Tide” colorway featuring multicolor graphics in blue, green, yellow and black is seen throughout Louisa Ballou’s line, and if you’re looking for something more simple, many items arrive in monochrome yellow and black. The range also includes a sporty “The Swell” bikini and string-tied “Whiplash” bikini, as well as a one-shoulder, one-piece “Surf Trip” swimsuit with cutouts at the waist. Beach apparel in the lineup features transparent mesh dresses with a bungee-style drawstring to gather in the side, jersey long-sleeve shirts, mid-rise cycling shorts and a lycra mini skirt with a zipper.
