Drôle de Monsieur's FW19 Collection Is All About Seasonal Textures and Layering Up

If you’re already over the blazing heat of summer, start looking forward to all the cozy clothes that are on their way this autumn. French label Drôle de Monsieur just dropped a range of athletic-inspired pieces that are streetwear must-cops. Still following the teddy bear and fleece trend from last year’s colder seasons, this Fall/Winter 2019 collection is all about textures.
The lineup has a sporty and vintage feel to it. Full of color-blocked pieces in vibrant fall colorways, we see an array of youthful hoodies, high neck zip-up sweaters and sweatpants perfect for lounging. There are pops of mustard yellow and forest green, paired with maroon and cream detailing, giving the color scheme a retro vibe. Our favorite pieces include matching sweatsuits, teddy bear fleece hoodies and corduroy sets.
Other highlights feature tartan pants, long-sleeve rugby-style polo shirts with velvet detailing and headwear such as knit beanies and textured caps. The brand has also dropped waterproof anoraks for rainy days. The whole collection overall is designed for layering during those in-between seasons.
