Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan & Timothée Chalamet Star in Official 'Little Women' Trailer
We’re here for this.
Louisa May Alcott stans are most likely rejoicing worldwide right now; Little Women has finally gotten its first official trailer. Collider reports, that Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of Alcott’s beloved 1868 novel highlights the lives of four sisters as they move from childhood to adulthood. A few of the film’s main characters include Meg March (Emma Watson), Jo March (Saoirse Ronan) and Theodore Laurence ( Timothée Chalamet).
The plot of the movie centers around the sisters as they maneuver through life following the Civil War. What sticks out about the trailer is the fact that it shares a peek at modern women’s issues that still are present in society: marriage and oversimplification of what women should want out of life. We can’t help but notice Saoirse and Timothee’s chemistry which becomes apparent from the very beginning of the trailer. Unsurprisingly the clip also showcases different shots of post-Civil War fashion.
Little Women will debut in theaters on December 25. Watch the trailer in the gallery above.
