International Girl Crew Debuts Customizable Nike By You Air Max 90, 95 & 97

International Girl Crew and Nike have linked up on a limited-edition drop of three Nike By You customizable sneakers. The silhouettes include the Nike Air Max 97, Air Max 95 and Air Max 90. The partnership allows shoppers to choose specific color palettes, materials and finishes for their shoes.
The International Girl Crew is a global community of women including Paloma Elsesser and Sharmadean Reid. In a 2017 interview with Teen Vogue, Elsesser shared, “We’re all inspired by one another.” The group’s empowering message is a major point of the 2019 Nike By You collaboration. The collab brings the stories of the six women to the forefront through the sneaker’s customizable options.
The collab between IGC and Nike features colors including “Moss Green” and contrasting shades of grey representing the Scottish highlands. Mexico City’s fruit stands are represented by purple hues and natural greens. Additionally, tonal cream tones are available to speak to the sandy spheres created by bubbler crabs on beaches in Koh Lipe, Thailand. The customizable shades are rounded out by icy blue hues, hits of neon green and a bold orange.
