Here Are the Most Popular Sneakers at London Fashion Week SS20

As London Fashion Week draws to a close for the SS20 season, everyone’s picking out the key trends that will form part of our wardrobes early next year. Although must-see runway shows from the likes of Burberry, JW Anderson, Victoria Beckham and more gave us some insight on what to keep our eyes on in early 2020, all eyes were on the street to see what to add to our closets for this fall.

Nike Cortez x Kendrick Lamar Basic Slip
Nike’s collaborative Cortez with Kendrick Lamar dropped in 2018 but it looks like they’ve remained a sartorial favorite this season. The laceless design and simplicity of these sleek kicks ensures they’ll stay stylish paired with pretty much any outfit and the flash of orange is just enough to brighten up even a monochrome look.

Prada Cloudbust Thunder
An even bolder follow-up to Prada’s bouncy Cloudbust, this option is one for the bold. The shoe features a futuristic design, fusing mesh with sculptural, 3D elements throughout the upper and of course, there’s that signature ultra-chunky sole.

Nike Shox TL
A trainer that’s had a real comeback this year has been Nike’s Shox TL, as evidenced by the sheer amount of them we spotted during LFW. A standout colorway however is this crisp white iteration with hits of “Metallic Silver” and “Max Orange” which will add some subtle flair to minimal looks

Axel Arigato Marathon Runner
In case you had any doubts as to whether chunky dad shoes were still on trend – they are. Swedish brand Axel Arigato’s Marathon Runner has real retro vibes but a contemporary finish in white leather, grey mesh and flashes of metallic silver which make it seem in equal parts futuristic and nostalgic.
