Here Are the Most Popular Sneakers at London Fashion Week SS20

From classic Nike trainers to designer kicks by Prada.

As London Fashion Week draws to a close for the SS20 season, everyone’s picking out the key trends that will form part of our wardrobes early next year. Although must-see runway shows from the likes of Burberry, JW Anderson, Victoria Beckham and more gave us some insight on what to keep our eyes on in early 2020, all eyes were on the street to see what to add to our closets for this fall.

Aside from statement boots which are always a go-to at this time of year, the sneaker scene was strong with everyday staples from the likes of Nike to high-end creps from Prada. Scroll below for some of our favorite trainers spotted this season and where you can cop them for yourself.

Nike’s collaborative Cortez with Kendrick Lamar dropped in 2018 but it looks like they’ve remained a sartorial favorite this season. The laceless design and simplicity of these sleek kicks ensures they’ll stay stylish paired with pretty much any outfit and the flash of orange is just enough to brighten up even a monochrome look.

Prada Cloudbust Thunder

An even bolder follow-up to Prada’s bouncy Cloudbust, this option is one for the bold. The shoe features a futuristic design, fusing mesh with sculptural, 3D elements throughout the upper and of course, there’s that signature ultra-chunky sole.

A trainer that’s had a real comeback this year has been Nike’s Shox TL, as evidenced by the sheer amount of them we spotted during LFW. A standout colorway however is this crisp white iteration with hits of “Metallic Silver” and “Max Orange” which will add some subtle flair to minimal looks

WHERE TO COP: Available at Nike.com for $170 USD.

In case you had any doubts as to whether chunky dad shoes were still on trend – they are. Swedish brand Axel Arigato’s Marathon Runner has real retro vibes but a contemporary finish in white leather, grey mesh and flashes of metallic silver which make it seem in equal parts futuristic and nostalgic.
