Loungewear Brand Sleeper Introduces Satin Slippers
For indoor and outdoor wear.
Sleeper, known for its polished pajamas and lounge-appropriate dresses, has expanded into footwear with the release of satin slippers. Suited for both indoor and outdoor wear, the Puff Slipper is a flat mule that can be dressed up or down for a variety of occasions. Made of satin, the shoes arrive in vibrant “Abyss Blue,” rich “Cognac Brown” and classic black. A drawstring cord around the vamp allows for a custom fit.
The slippers are handmade by local artisans at small factories in the Ukraine, a fact that Sleeper Co-Founder Asya Varesta touches on in a statement. “We at Sleeper are not big fans of fast fashion. We enjoy creating clothes that people truly love and wear for years,” she says. “It took us 6 months to design the pair of ‘The Puff’ slippers. We wanted to create something very aesthetically pleasing, versatile, and comfortable.”
