ColourPop Announces Adorable 'Animal Crossing' Makeup Collection
Featuring Tom Nook, Isabelle and Blathers-themed eyeshadow palettes.
ColourPop has revealed its first collaboration of 2021, an adorable makeup collection created in partnership with hit Nintendo game Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Looking to characters from the ACNH universe for inspiration, the range features eye and lip products inspired by Tom Nook, Isabelle, Blathers and more.
The Nook, Inc. eyeshadow palette features four green-tinted shades in metallic, matte and glitter finishes while the 5 Star Island palette, a nod to island assistant Isabelle, focuses on pink hues. Labelle of the Ball pays homage to the Able Sisters with four shades of purple ranging from glittery lavender to matte plum. Lastly, What a Hoot, dedicated to owl siblings Blathers and Celeste, is a caramel-y collection of warm browns and beiges. Inspired by the natural bounty of Animal Crossing islands, the Fruit Basket and Fruit Root lip tint duos arrive in “Juicy Apple,” “Cherry Cherry,” “Coconut Juice” and “Incom-pear-able.” Two pressed glitter powders, one in rose gold “Ballon Pop” and the other in gold “Bellionaire,” and a duo of flower-embossed blushes top off the collaboration.
The Animal Crossing x ColourPop collection releases at the ColourPop website on January 28 at 10 a.m. PST. Prices start at $12 USD.
