adidas Originals Unveils Valentine's Day Superstar
Along with a handful of other heart-decorated silhouettes.
adidas Originals is prepping for Valentine’s Day with a heart-filled footwear pack including the Superstar, Ozweego, Continental 80 and NY 90. The special-edition sneakers are made over in white and red colorways dotted with subtle heart accents, nods to the hallmark holiday.
The Superstar, one of adidas’ most iconic silhouettes, features a white leather base adorned with the brand’s Three Stripes branding in black. Pops of red arrive in the form of a heart-shaped patch at the rear quarter and a scarlet Trefoil emblem at the heel. Similarly, the Ozweego combines a white upper with cream-colored paneling and black stripes. Red piping circles the shoe, leading to a heart patch at the heel.
The Continental and NY 90 take a subtler approach. The former features small hearts embossed at the lateral eyestay and heel, while the latter, a nearly all-white shoe, is stitched with a singular heart patch.
adidas Originals’ Valentine’s Day pack releases at the adidas website on February 14.
