KAWS Launches His First Fragrance With COMME des GARÇONS
A musky floral scent, MIRROR comes in a bottle featuring the artist’s Companion character.
On top of fashion and footwear, KAWS has now ventured into perfume in collaboration with COMME des GARÇONS.
The artist’s first-ever fragrance, dubbed MIRROR, is inspired by KAWS’ multi-faceted practice. The product’s top notes feature turmeric leaves, root oil and neroli oil fused with middle notes of clean accord and orange blossom absolute. Rounding off the perfume are dry ingredients such as cashmeran, sinfonide and benzoin resinoid. As a result, MIRROR boasts a musky floral scent with hits of amber and powdery notes.
Priced at $100 USD per bottle, KAWS x COMME des GARÇONS’ MIRROR fragrance will release on October 14 at COMME des GARÇONS and Dover Street Market stores, as well as select specialty boutiques worldwide. For those residing in Paris, the perfume is now available at Dover Street Parfums Market.
