Kanye West Faces Backlash for Inviting Marilyn Manson to Sunday Service
The controversial heavy metalist has been accused of sexual assault.
Ye invited a few guests to perform at the rooftop event including Justin Bieber who performed “No Child Left Behind,” “Hurricane,” “Moon” and “Come to Life” with the Sunday Service Choir. Meanwhile, Roddy Ricch sang “Pure Souls.” Amid his multiple sexual assault lawsuits, Marilyn Manson took the stage for the second time with Ye this year after the DONDA rapper’s Chicago listening event at Soldier Field.
As the heavy metalist is known to be involved with the Church Of Satan, social media users were shocked with Ye’s decision on inviting Manson to a Christian gathering. “Can’t believe we live in a timeline where Kanye West, Justin Bieber and Marilyn Manson are huddled up in a circle hugging,” one user said on Twitter.
“We cast out any demonic negativity that would try and steal our peace today or steal our joy,” Bieber prayed and concluded with “in the name of Jesus.”
