YEEZY x Gap Logo Confirmed in New Trademark Filing
And it’s pretty much what you’d expect.
A new trademark application has confirmed the logo for Kanye West‘s YEEZY x Gap collaboration, a partnership that will reportedly span 10 years. Filed on April 9, the rights for the design lock in Ye’s original graphic, teased last year.
Riffing on Gap’s navy blue emblem, the logo consists of a rounded square with serif “YZY” lettering at the center. Hinting at what’s to come, the trademark application covers items including clothing, footwear, headwear, accessories and bags. Back in July 2020, West posted a behind-the-scenes look at a YEEZY x Gap fitting, revealing tie-dye separates and what appears to be a pair of leather pants. (You can’t miss the tank driving in the background, either.)
The YEEZY x Gap collection is expected to launch sometime this year, so stay tuned.
