MAC To Bring Back Its '00s Lime-Green Lipglass, Squirt, With a Modern Twist
Achieve plump-looking, luscious lips this summer.
MAC is taking us back to the early ’00s by relaunching its iconic Squirt lip gloss with a twist. Now dubbed the Squirt Balm, the upcoming product is a part of the limited-edition, first-to-market MAC Underground series.
“When I was first introduced to this luscious, buttery formula, I knew instantly it would be the perfect vehicle to re-introduce the color of iconic Squirt lipglass, a transparent yellow-green that makes your lips look like they’ve been glazed with golden honey,” said MAC’s senior artist Fatima Thomas shared in a press release.
Featuring the original fluorescent green shade, the gloss-balm hybrid instantly melts onto the lips. The thin, lightweight and non-sticky formula is infused with coconut oil, shea butter and avocado oil that work together to nourish and moisturize the lips throughout the day. Elsewhere, ginger root extract, capsicum and menthol crystals have been added to the Squirt Balm, which gives a subtle tingling sensation for an instant plumping effect.
