Rick Owens x Veja Return With New Sustainable Sneaker Collaboration

The duo marks their fourth team-up with more eco-friendly styles.

Building on their ongoing partnership, Veja and Rick Owens are now back with a new sneaker style. The duo has reworked the Runner Style 2 in three updated colorways.

The fourth collaboration maintains Rick Owens’ signature style while adding a pop of pink to the mix. The spring- and summer-ready kicks are crafted with 100 percent recycled polyester on the upper, along with 57 percent sugar cane, five percent banana oil, 30 percent Amazonian rubber and 31 percent rice waste on the midsole. As suggested by its name, “Full-Black” is an all-black iteration boasting a minimal look, while “Oyster” arrives in a pale gray-ish hue. The pack is rounded out with “Pop Pink,” which comes in a bright pink hue contrasting the white soles.

Check out the sneakers above. Priced at $290 USD, the Rick Owens-designed Runner Style 2 is now available via Veja’s web store.
