Krispy Kreme Brings Back Free Donuts for Graduates

Grab your “Graduate Dozen.”

For the second year in a row, Krispy Kreme will give out free boxes of donuts to graduating high school and college seniors.

The promotion, introduced last May as a sweet acknowledgement of pandemic-related challenges facing students across the world, offers a free “Graduate Dozen” to any student who drops by a Krispy Kreme location wearing their cap and gown or Class of 2021 merch (T-shirts, letterman jackets and more included). The box of 12 will include the chain’s classic glazed donut along with chocolate-filled, strawberry-iced and cake batter-flavored treats.

“It’s been a tough year for this year’s graduates, marked by virtual learning, canceled sports, limited school activities, altered or eliminated proms and non-traditional graduation ceremonies,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s chief marketing officer. “We admire them, we’re proud of them and we want to celebrate all of them by giving them a special Graduate Dozen completely free at their local Krispy Kreme.”

Pick up your free Krispy Kreme “Graduate Dozen” at Krispy Kreme locations in the U.S. on May 13.
