Shoppers Rush To Buy 'Pokémon' Trading Cards at Walmart in Pennsylvania

The increased violence has forced retailers like Target to stop selling the cards.

With the ongoing hype surrounding Pokémon trading cards, chaos broke out at a Walmart in Pennsylvania as customers rushed to catch a recent restock. This comes after retailers like Target stopped selling Pokémon TCG in response to scenes of violence that have occurred at its stores.

A viral video captured by social media user @tcg_grassi and shared by Big B Cards shows a group of adults queuing up as they wait for the store to open at 7 a.m. As soon as the doors slide open, they charge in, causing chaos while running towards the section displaying the Pokémon cards. “I’ve been in lines at other stores with them and they’ve all been respectful in the past. Kinda crazy,” @tcg_grassi explained to Kotaku. According to the user, the manager in charge of the store seemed “annoyed” while “the [other employees] looked fairly shocked.”

You can head to Twitter to see the full video.
