BILLY’s Archive IKEA Sale Features Over 50 Items

The sale kicks off tonight.

Following the success of BILLY‘s latest archive sale, 50 new IKEA pieces are now up for grabs. The archive project was started by London-based artist Harry Stayt, and aims to preserve the Swedish furniture giant’s boldest designs from the past five decades, focusing on postmodern designs and pieces from the 1980s and 1990s, when IKEA first opened in the UK.

Stayt has spent five years collecting over 100 discontinued IKEA products, and launched the first sale in November 2020, and sold out in an hour. The new sale will feature everything from home accessories like mirrors, hangers and lamps, to chairs and furniture.

The BILLY IKEA archive sale will launch on June 7 at 18:00 BST online, with prices starting at £65 GBP. Take a look at some of the items up for grabs in the gallery above.
