Hermès Expands Beauty Range With Nail Polish
Led by the house’s signature orange hue.
Adding to its line of luxe makeup goods, Hermès is now expanding its beauty range with nail polish.
Arriving in a total of 24 shades, the collection is composed of bold bio-sourced pigments that only need one coat. The colors are accompanied by a base and top coat, in addition to hand care products such as a hand cream, nail brushes and nail files.
The range is led by “Orange Boîte” — Hermès’s iconic orange hue that translates to “orange box” in English — as well as a bold red “Rouge Casaque” and deep pink “Rose Magenta.” Agnès de Villers, the chief executive officer of Hermès Beauty and Fragrances, shared with ELLE: “For Hermès, the hands are like the face, because everything [in our métiers] is handmade.”
Take a first look at Hermès’s nail lacquer line in the gallery above, and see some of the standout colors and products below. Priced at $45 USD each, the nail lacquers will be available on October 15 at the house’s web store.
