The Rouge Dior Lip Balm Returns in New Textures and Shades
Peter Philips updates the product with satin, matte and velvet finishes.
As beauty fanatics wait to pick up the house’s limited-edition eyeshadow and lipstick, Dior Makeup has now unveiled an updated range of its popular Rouge Dior Lip Balm.
Originally composed of 95 percent natural-origin ingredients, the lip product returns with three new textures in 11 shades, courtesy of the brand’s Creative and Image Director Peter Philips. The balms are comprised of waxes and oils, as well as shea butter to provide lightweight hydration. Pomegranate flower extract is added to the mix for a plumping effect. As for each individual shade, red hibiscus flower extract is used to obtain natural hues, while the product is complete with red peony extract.
Available in satin, velvet and matte iterations, the balms add a blurry, radiant effect that blends effortlessly with any makeup look. Shades range from milk tea-inspired beiges and soft pinks, to the universal and translucent “000 Diornatural.”
Priced at $330 HKD (approximately $42 USD), the 11 new iterations of the Rouge Dior Lip Balm will launch at Dior Makeup stores and online on September 1.
