Julia Fox Might Be Cast in Madonna's Biopic
The Queen of Pop hints at the news on Instagram after dinner with Kanye West.
In her recent Instagram post, Madonna hinted that Uncut Gems star Julia Fox might have a role in her upcoming biopic, which was given the greenlight by Universal Pictures back in 2020.
The first image of the carousel features Madonna and Fox looking cozy on the couch, along with other images of them with Floyd Mayweather, Antonio Brown and Fox’s new beau, Kanye West. “Went to dinner with Julia to talk about my movie and some other folks showed up…,” the Queen of Pop shared in her caption.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Fox “is being considered to play the role of actress Debi Mazar, the singer’s longtime friend.” Mazar, whose credits include Goodfellas, Younger and Entourage, was in the same interview with Fox for Document Journal, which left the 31-year-old actor “starstruck.” Needless to say, Fox is very familiar with Mazar’s work and could make the ideal talent to portray her part in the movie.
As of writing, the script and cast haven’t been finalized yet. Stay tuned as we learn more about Madonna’s biopic.
