Maison Margiela x Reebok Unveil New Classic Leather Tabi Décortiqué Low
Available in four different iterations.
Maison Margiela and Reebok are set to drop the low-top version of the 2021 Classic Leather Tabi High trainer.
Dubbed the Classic Leather Tabi Décortiqué Low, the silhouette will be available in three leather tonal colorways — black, white and red. Inspired by the French label’s signature bianchetto technique, the fourth iteration comes with a white-painted black leather base that will gradually chip over time. The sneaker‘s base and pattern are taken from Reebok’s Classic Leather runner that released in 1983. In true Maison Margiela fashion, the footwear style features a split-toe just like the Tabi. For a luxe yet modern look, the leather panels have been cut off to create a cage-like design.
Priced at $595 USD for the leather versions and $650 USD for the bianchetto style, Maison Margiela x Reebok Classic Leather Tabi Décortiqué Low will be available via Maison Margiela, Reebok and select stores on January 28.
