Dior Makeup Gives Its Signature 5 Couleurs Couture Eye Palette a "New Look"
The brand’s signature fragrances have also been reimagined.
Dior Makeup has revamped its three leading fragrances and 5 Couleurs Couture eyeshadow palette for its limited-edition “New Look” collection. Each product is housed in the brand’s signature houndstooth check packaging covered in toile.
The “New Look” name is inspired by Christian Dior‘s first runway show in 1947. Avid fans can revisit the “#769 Tutu” palette, which is filled with shades of brown, pink and pearly lavender. Each hue arrives in a creamy texture that results in either matte, pearly, shiny or metallic finishes. For the first time, the label has incorporated aloe vera and pine oil into the product to help prevent the mixture from smearing into the creases of the eyelid.
Meanwhile, the brand’s three signature fragrances — “Gris Dior,” “Lucky” and “Jasmin Des Anges” — come in new cases featuring fine squares that resemble floating delicate petals. The perfumes are paired with refillable travel sprays nestled in pochettes. Peter Philips, the creative and image director for Dior Makeup, also designed a makeup set to complement the aforementioned products. The range spans the Rouge Dior lipstick in six different shades and the essential Dior Forever Couture Perfect Cushion, dressed in an elegant checkered print.
Priced from $395 to $2,090 HKD (approximately $50 to $268 USD), the collection is now available online and on the Dior Beauty mobile app.
