MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon Dropped a Puffer Jacket for Your Feet
In the latest collaboration featuring two upcoming drops.
MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon are taking their ongoing footwear partnership into Fall/Winter 2026, returning with two drops that continue to blur the line between outdoor gear and subversive style. Four years into their partnership, the brands are revisiting familiar silhouettes while introducing new designs that bring a fashion-forward twist to functional footwear.
First up, Drop 1 arrives on October 22, led by the XT-MM6 sneaker in three new colorways, including a dynamic multicolour option and deep urban green. The standout newcomer is the MM6 CROSSDERBY, which fuses the polished shape of a classic black leather derby with Salomon’s technical outdoor sole and signature drawstring lacing system. Elsewhere, the XT-15 Backpack returns, complete with a white rain cover stamped with a black logo.
Drop 2 lands on November 17, introducing the MM6 XT-BOOT, a hybrid design featuring a soft inner shoe and a padded, puffer-inspired upper. Wear it pulled up as a boot or loosened around the calf for a more relaxed, sock-like silhouette. It comes in “Vanilla Ice,” black and “Dusty Yellow.” The ACS PRO 3 also gets a fresh update, arriving in a sleek black and “Green Gables” edition, alongside a palette of “Cosmic Sky,” “Heron” and “Violet Tulip.”
Both drops will be available through MM6 and Salomon’s online stores, so mark your calendars.
