Bella Hadid Stuns in 1986 Alaïa Gown at the Fashion Trust Arabia Awards

The Dutch-Palestinian model never misses.

Bella Hadid attended the Fashion Trust Arabia Awards in Doha, Qatar, rocking up in a rare archival piece from Alaïa’s Fall/Winter 1986 collection, valued at $31,961 USD on e-tailer 1st Dibs.

Hadid chose to pair the mesmerizing navy maxi-length knit gown with an alluring sleek hijab alongside ruby and diamond-encrusted chandelier Chopard earrings. The Dutch-Palestinian model finished the look with a traditional Middle Eastern elongated cat-eye makeup and a “classic-Bella” sleek bun hairstyle.

The model commented on Instagram, “Sending my love and congratulations to all of the incredible designers who stand strong for their respected countries. Representation is so important and if we are not able to showcase the talent of MENA (Middle East &North Africa) to the rest of the world, how will it ever be known? They deserve the same respect, recognition and support as the rest of the world.”

This isn’t the first time Hadid has opted to dust off a vintage piece at an influential event. Earlier this year, she stunned in an Old Hollywood-inspired Versace number at Cannes Film Festival. Last year, the model wore a black-and-white gown from Jean Paul Gaultier‘s Spring/Summer 2002 line, as well as a the iconic Schiaparelli ”lung dress” designed by Daniel Roseberry.
