Exclusive: 'Queer Sex Ed' Spills "The Real Tea" on STIs and Sexual Health
Tune in for your exclusive look at the finale.
The It Gets Better Project shares its final episode of Queer Sex Ed titled “STIs and Sexual Health” in an exclusive with Hypebae.
In the episode, friends Philip Bolton (they/them), Thamicha Isaac (she/her), Jomil Luna (he/him), and Janae SaisQuoi (he/him), share what they call the “juicy juice” or “real tea,” on sexual wellness. What makes this the real tea? Well, sex educators Dr. Lexx and Melina Gaze are watching behind a screen and giving you direct feedback on the group’s discussion so you too can be well-informed, and have great, safe sex.
It’s no secret standard sex education completely neglects pleasure, let alone the experiences of queer folks and those with STIs. As a result, social stigma has become unbearable and sabotaged our community’s sexual health. The It Gets Better Project aims to correct that by sharing the experiences of queer people of color. For example, hilarious commentary on the pitfalls of douching and what it means to be undetectable.
