SUNNEI Ventures Into Tailoring With Its FW22 Collection

Tight jerseys and knitwear take center stage in this season’s runway show.

SUNNEI‘s Fall/Winter 2022 collection ventures into tailoring, spanning across garments that boast bold proportions. Tight jerseys and knitwear take center stage on the runway, featuring prints of the brand’s beloved French Bulldog, Angelino.

Chenille wave details encapsulate the range, with sweaters adorned with thicker fur stitches that give the piece a three-dimensional look. Form-fitting jerseys appear in a myriad of colorways to celebrate each model’s unique conformation. The brand’s attention to detail is highlighted on dresses, skirts and trousers adorned in diagonal zippers and a maxi fold. Elsewhere, pompom balls evoke a feeling of the ’90s and early aughts in flamboyant pieces.

Accessories in the collection include the Labauletto Bag and the Pudding 360 Hobo Bag, the latter comprised of strips of scented rubber tape. The Torre Velasca Bag also makes an appearance, paying homage to one of Milan’s most iconic architectures. The familiar Dreamy and 1000CHIODI footwear silhouettes showcase elevated designs in boots and platform heels, whereas lace-up flat shoes bearing flocked treatment on the upper round off the range.

Take a look at the runway images above.
